General Ditch Maintenance Notification Colburn and Widow Green Drainage Districts
The Adams County Drainage Board hereby issues notice to all landowners in the Colburn and Widow Green Drainage Districts that general ditch maintenance consisting of vegetation, obstruction, and sediment removal is planned for both Districts in the summer and fall of 2018.
Work shall not begin prior to June 1, 2018 and is anticipated to be completed by November 1, 2018.
Spoil material from this general ditch maintenance shall be placed within the District Corridors and/or graded to blend with adjacent cultivated lands where feasible. Spoil placement shall be in accordance with the requirements of 2017 Wisconsin Act 115 which can be viewed at: http://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/2017/related/acts/115.pdf Colburn District Maintenance will occur at numerous locations on Ditch #1, Ditch #2, Ditch #3, and Ditch #4 in areas west of 1st Avenue.
Widow Green District Maintenance will occur at the lower-third of the Widow Green Ditch.
