Town Board Meeting – Jackson Town Hall

August, 16, 2018  6:30 PM

            Attending:   Larry Borud, Robert Bonnett, Gordon Addy, Delores Benish, Candy Pegler

            Guests:  11

Call to Order by Chairman Borud at 6:30 PM

Open Meeting Compliance Certification this meeting:  Notice posted 8/15/18 (10:30 am) at Town Hall and Town website by C Pegler


            Agenda:  Motion by Bonnett to approve;  Second by Addy  -M/C

             Minutes:  Motion by Addy to approve minutes of 7/12, 7/20 & 8/6/18;  Second by Bonnett –M/C

            Bills Approval:  Motion by Bonnett to approve bills as presented on check #s: 11161-11179 for a total amount of $ 38,680.72:  Second by Addy  -M/C               

Treasurer’s report read and filed.

New Business (all votes were by voice vote)

  • Motion by Bonnett to adopt WTA Transportation Resolution 2018-003;  Second by Addy  -M/C
  • Motion by Bonnett to adopt Amendment #1 to Ordinance 2018-001;  Second by Addy  -M/C
  • Motion by Bonnett to approve upgrade to Town website;  Second by Addy  -M/C
  • Motion by Addy to full wedging to be done on Walnut, Maple and part of Lakeshore in Goose Lake subdivision;  Second by Bonnett  -M/C

Unfinished Business (all votes were by voice vote)

There were no motions.


  • Jordan Lake Beach:illegal boats moored at pier; Clerk to follow up with DNR regarding boat registrations
  • WI Dells referendum:  presentation regarding the need for additional money for school;  per presenters, no referendum money to be spent on athletic fields
  • Property Works:  proposals presented for snow removal;  Board and Property Works will have separate meeting to discuss in more detail
  • ATV/UTV Signage:  SACRR presented signage budget; Board approval to begin signage but requiring placed signs to be bagged until approved and all routes opened.  Crooked Lake to be first to be signed.
  • EMS Update:  future EMS facility probable on 23, past 39; contact J. Jungenberg for September meeting
  • Delinquent Personal Property:  2 out of 10 delinquencies left – 1 very delinquent; B. Bonnett to follow up and report at September meeting.


  • Motionby Bonnett to adjourn, second by Addy      – Meeting adjourned 8:41pm
